In spite of wealth and other comforts, there are persons who are mean in their outlook and ignoble in their word and deed.- They can do nothing and are never mindful of their own lives. Unless they are physically attacked with blows, nothing can be had from them. If any thing untoward happens, these mean men (கயவர்) with readiness sell themselves to anything. They possess no individuality and are good for nothing.
