Translation is a fine art of balancing the character of the source language and giving it a new life in the target language. Without translation we would perhaps be living in provinces bordering on silence groping in darkness. Translation is not only a knowledge-based training, but a subtle fine art too.
The Translation department strives with a strong will to deliver the fruits of official communications of our government in Tamil to the people so that the public at large get to know the various schemes of the Government of Tamil Nadu and enjoy the benefits to the maximum.

As per the Announcement made by our Hon’ble Minister for Tamil Development Department, an exclusive Work Station with individual computer systems have been provided to boost the performance of the sixteen Assistant Section Officers.
According to the maxim of Tholkappiyam, “Translate with Adaptable Sense”, the Translation Department is all set to reach newer heights in the near future.
