Every profession, in these days, demands of its votaries a perpetual study as a habit of the students disciplined mind.
What has been learnt in the past may have to be unlearnt in the future and what may have yet to be learnt may be much greater than what has been learnt.
The cataclysmic changes that have been taking place during the two world was.
The question arises : why has this sense of indiscipline come over the student population? Why is it that the Indian student who was known and famous for his inmate qualities of reverence and respect for the teacher, for the parent, for his elders – why is it that these qualities are not considered essential virtues in our student population? Here again let me ask myself the question : Are the students entirely responsible ? Can the youth of any country be disciplined unless there is a sense of discipline in the general public, in society at large, in those whose examples are so infectious so far as the students are concerned? Have we, the elders, no share in the responsibility for this unfortunate state of affairs ? Let us not again camouflage the issue.
