பெருமக்களே…
குயில் காளையிடம் மேலும் கூறுவதைக் கவிஞர் தொடர்கிறார்
.
காளையே ! நான் உன் முதுகில் அமர்ந்திருக்கையில் வாலைத்தூக்கி என்னை அடித்தாலும் நீ என்னை அணைப்பதாக அகமகிழ்வேன்;
நீ ‘மா என ஒலி எழுப்புகையில் நானும் உன்னுடன் சேர்ந்து குரலெழுப்பி, குதூகலமடைவேன்;
உன் உடலின் மேல் படிந்திருக்கும் உண்ணிகளை உனக்கு வலி ஏற்படாது எடுத்து கொன்று விடுவேன்.
காடெல்லாம் அலைந்து, வயல்வெளி எங்கும் சுற்றி வந்தபின், பசித்து உணவு உண்டு அமர்ந்து அசைபோடுவாயே: அப்போது நாம் உன் பக்கத்தில் அமர்ந்து நீ ரசிக்கும்படியான கதைகள் பல கூறிடுவேன்;
என் அருளை காளையரே !
இக்காட்டின் சிறந்த வீரரே !
உன் காலில் விழுந்து வணங்குகிறேன்.
பெண்ணாய் பிறந்த என்னை காத்தருள்வாயா ?
வழக்கமாக பெண்கள் வாய்விட்டு சொல்லத் தயங்கும் காதலை நான் வேறு வழியின்றி உன்னிடம் நானாக சொல்லிவிட்டேன், என்னை போன்ற இனத்தவர்களிடம் வேண்டுமென்றால் நான் வெட்கத்தை வெளிப்படுத்தலாம்; ஆனால், தங்களைப் போன்ற மேன்மை உற்றவர்களிடம் நாம் எப்படி நாணம் காட்டி நலம் செய்வது ?
இறைவனிடம் வணங்கி அன்புடன் பக்தி பரவசத்தில் வெட்கம் நீங்கி வேண்டுவதில்லையா!
மன்னர் முன் மக்களெல்லாம் மண்டியிட்டுக் கேட்பதில்லையா, அதற்கு மேல், ஆசை வெட்கமறியாதல்லவா ?
எனப் பல காதல் வார்த்தைகள் குயில் காளையிடம் சொல்கிறது கவிஞர் நினைக்கிறார்,
ஆகா ! என்ன நடிப்பைய்யா இது ? இந்தப் பொய் குயில் பெருமூச்சு விட்டு எப்படி எப்பொழுதும் போல தன் பொய்க் காதலை கொஞ்சமும் கூச்சமில்லாமல் கொட்டுகிறது; என வியக்கிறார்.
குயிலோ, எப்பொழுதும் போல, எதுவும் தெரியாதது போல எட்டுத்திசையும் மகிழும்படி பாடுகிறது.
காதல், காதல், காதல்
காதல் போயிற், காதல் போயிற்
சாதல், சாதல், சாதல்
என தன் இனிய குரலில் இசைக்கிறது.
Swung by the swish of thy tail sure my heart would be gay;
with thy loud blowing ‘maa’ I would coo conjoined;
on thy back the Acari ticks that suck, I shall kill sparing none;
wandering in the wild, grazing all the field, when you after
your full eat, postprandially, start chewing the cud,
beside you I shall reel out tales several! O, Mr Bull Ebullient,
Dark Soldier of the Sylvan Wood, I fall at your feet cloven !
In total surrender clinging!Save this silly lass in me;
love lorn I wilt; I do know ofcourse
it doesn’t become
the maidens to parade and proclaim love in the open.
But like as I am totally taken over by love unprecedented,
except auto-divulging it, is there any vent to unvalve it !
Shame in equal clan is seldom seen in the low down
before the superior great on this terrain! Before Deva,
to proclaim love, would mind shrink abashed ever ?
Won’t the downside thrall bare their craving
before the guardian angel ? Would egregious lust ever know
the strain of chagrin ?- thus and thus
in endearing trendy talk,
as ever accustomed in the past, she but sang the lie-laden
lay inebriating the eight airts with doting toxin, aye !
