 Some months ago, I had written there were several private museums in Madras but that most visitors knew nothing about them and that not many residents knew anything about them. A lack of publicity, even a listing, was responsible for this sad state of affairs. I'm now happy to record that I've found a useful publication on the subject that was brought out a couple of months ago by the Government Museum. Members of The Rotary Club of Chenna Patna recently conferred the `For the sake of honour' award on Avvai Natarajan for his contributions to literature and culture of Tamilnadu. The club placed on record the veteran's ability to blend real life episodes with literary references that left thousands of listeners spell bound.     A rose by any other name would indeed smell as sweet, but a lot of people might be upset if they suddenly had to call a rose by something less familiar. Yday evening on 6th April was the Cheif guest and addressed the 11th Tiny Tots Convocation day of Karthikeyan Matriculation School@Maduravoyal and spoke to parents/teachers/students for 30 minutes and gave away certificates for UKG Students and the Special Guest was my Mother Dr Tara Natarajan-Former Dean of Madurai Medical College-What a proud moment for a Son......
