தமிழ்நாடு அரசின் தமிழ் வளர்ச்சித்துறையின் கொள்கை விளக்கக் குறிப்பு, சட்டமன்றத்தில் 17.7.2014அன்று வெளியிட்ட பொழுது மொழிபெயர்ப்புப்பிரிவின் குறிப்பு(தமிழ்,ஆங்கிலம்) காண்க:
மொழிபெயர்ப்புப்பிரிவு- தலைமைச்செயலகம்
மொழிபெயர்ப்பு என்பது ஓர் நுண்கலை.பாட்டில் பிசிறு தட்டினால் இசை நிற்காது. நாட்டியத்தில் ஓர் உணர்ச்சிக்குப்பதிலாக வேற்றோர் உணர்ச்சியை அபிநயத்தால் நாட்டியம் சிறக்காது.அதுபோலவே மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்ட ஒவ்வொரு சொல்லும் மூல மொழியுடன் பொருத்தமாக அமையவேண்டும்.இதனை கருத்தில் கொண்டு, தலைமைச்செயலகத்தின் மொழிபெயர்ப்புப்பிரிவானது,பின்வரும் மொழியாக்கப்பணிகளை மேற்கொண்டு வருகிறது.
