Thanks to Canada Prof CR Selvakumars Posting of the beautiful tamil verse of Namakkal Ramalingam Pillai on 1st June 2014 and read my english rendering of the same:
By whom wheels Sun in view
Or wanders Moon in phases due??
Up in pitch dark, swim glow worms, see,
Before our eyes. What may they be?
By what do flash and thunder streak and roll?
On whose will deluging downpours flood?
Who holds the office to minister these?
Ought we not to think of all in the role?
Though waters wet, seed none sown,
How sprouts in slush and grass is grown?
Dropped ere once some seed earthed
Pops out a plant, a tree–by whose stealth?
Viewless foetus for probing eyes
Grow to full born; whose trick is this?
Point to ponder: for all these and those
Some force acts ever in-force!
Many a beast, many a fish,
Rodents many, fliers too;
Insects , pupa, species galore
Countless are flora’s fore!
How many hues! how many shapes!
Of them all think, at once;
For sure an Acter must be there
To steer them all from somewhere !
Some hail aloud ‘Allah great’
Some chant ‘Aran, Ari’ and prate
And praise Him ‘ Father’
Reigning from heavens supreme!
‘Vacancy inexplicable’ label that some;
Some word otherwise in phatic stress!
For all to say severally thus
An ‘Ens’ there is true to guess!
Contemplating ‘that’ may we sense
Love in all and may we flock in faith!
No matter who hail and worship
What by which in what order!
Cavil not on finer faith;
Hurt none by thought even;
Let us,bow unto,salute”That”
And live in amity, live along!
