என் பயணம் பெரிது

காண விழைந்த
கனவுலகின் பன்மடங்கு
மாணச் சிறந்ததொரு
வாழ்க்கைச் சமுதாயம்
படைக்கத் துணிந்தேன்நான்;
பாதையிலே காணும்
தடைக்கற்கள் யாவும்
தகர்க்கும் வலியுடையேன்.
அறிவும் நெடுந்தவமும்
ஆற்றுதலும் இல்லாதார்
பெரிதாய் எதுவும்
பெறுந்தகுதி யில்லர்எனும்
உண்மை அறிகுவன்நான்;
ஒருகோடி துன்பெனினும்
திண்மை குறையாத
சிந்தையினன்; மண்ணுலகில்
விழையும் பொருளெதுவும்
வீடுவந்து தானாக
நுழையும் எனக்கருதும்
நோக்குடைய னல்லேன்; என்
பயணம் பெரிது : செலும்
பாதை நெடிது: வழித்
துயரம் தவிர்க்கத்
துணை தேடேன்; என் படைக்கு
ஒருசிலரும் போதும், நான்
ஒருவனே போதும்; மெய்ப்
பொருளொன்று தேடும்
புனிதப் பணியிதற்குக்
கூட்ட மெதற்கு?
கொடிபிடித்துப் பின்தொடர்வோர்
ஆட்டமேன் வேண்டும்!
அரிய பொருளெதையும்
தேடி யளிக்கச்
சிலர்போதும்; மற்றதனைக்
கூடிச் சுவைக்கக்
குவலயத்தை நாம் அழைப்போம்!

Long Traveling
A live social world rather,
several-fold evolved
than the dream-dummy
I longed to find
and resolved to make;
en route boulders blocked;
them I am powered
to crush and pulver!
Sans learning,ever during askesis,
and action viable,
one worthy of big attainment-
This axiom, I am aware
Woes in millions menace,
even if,my stubborn resolve
abates never; on this
mundane world,
I pet no presumptuous notion
that all wished for things
come home on their own,
into the drawing!
Long and on is my travel, you know;
high my way to go;
seek no fellow for company
to lessen the lag.
For my teem a few
might do; why, me myself
is enough and more;
to ken the truth, a sacred task!
Why a mass of a retinue
holding flags full mast
need trail?Why song and dance?
Rarer things whatever
to hit upon and hold on to,
a chosen few suffice.
To savor our find
let us invite the globe around!
