Ring out a slowly dying cause and ancient forms of partly strife; Ring in the nobler modes of life, with sweeter manners, purer laws.
Let us realise that the true purpose of education should be creative and that it should free us from the thraldom of forced views and should tend to lead to independent thinking, frank expression freedom from prejudice and bias, rancour and antagonism and it should promote mature judgment. Education does not consist in a mastery of many facts, in the mere acquisition of knowledge for knowledge is but a means to an end, not an end in itself and unfortunately, most of the present day texts are essentially defective for they are designed to impart knowledge only.
